DMVA DigestA publication of the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs First-Ever Together We Serve Delivered To You Next Week:Together We Serve is less than one week away! For more than a decade the DMVA Digest has provided veterans, their families and advocates with information on veteran jobs, events and local/national news. As the interests of Pennsylvania’s more than 700,000 veterans evolve, so too is the Digest. Starting on Sept. 30, you will receive a new, free online publication called: Together We Serve. This publication will provide you with short bursts of information encompassing DMVA’s dual mission of serving Pennsylvania’s veterans and their families, and support of the Pennsylvania National Guard, servicemembers and their families. Together We Serve will feature a message from the Adjutant General, and updates from the Bureau of Veterans Homes, Office of Veterans Affairs, Policy and Legislation, Facilities and Engineering, Army and Air National Guard training and deployments, and so much more. In addition to a name change to Together We Serve, other changes will include a more colorful look with photos and graphics to help tell our story. The frequency will also change, going from a weekly to a monthly distribution. Conveniently, it will still come directly to your e-mail, the last day of every month. We are excited for you to start receiving Together We Serve, so you can see first-hand how the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is working every day to deliver you the programs, services, safety and security you have earned through your service to our nation.
