PA National Guard Cyber Team Participates In Cyber Shield Exercise:

The Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s Cyber Team played a pivotal role in Cyber Shield 2024, a comprehensive and highly sophisticated cyber defense exercise held from May 31 to June 14, 2024, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach.

SRAAG Connects Army, PA Army National Guard:

Known as the Senior Regular Army Advisor to the Guard, or SRAAG, their job is to assist and advise their state’s Army National Guard commanders, including training, operations, organizations and readiness. They are also responsible for assisting adjutants general and Army National Guard unit commanders in meeting requirements and standards and assisting the staff at the state’s Joint Force Headquarters.

Lithuanian Minister Of Defense Visits Fort Indiantown Gap:

Lithuanian Minister of Defense Laurynas Kasciunas visited Fort Indiantown Gap on July 8. He met with Pennsylvania Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Mark Schindler and other PA National Guard senior leaders and toured the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site’s Aviation Maintenance Instructional Building. The Pennsylvania National Guard and Lithuania have been partners through the National Guard’s State Partnership Program since 1993.

Enrollment Fair And Museum Tour In Gettysburg:

Veterans of all service branches and from all time periods are welcome to the World War II American Experience Museum on July 31 from 8 a.m.-Noon for coffee, donuts, camaraderie and a free museum tour. Representatives will be available from the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Harrisburg Vet Center, and the Adams County Veterans Affairs Office, to assist veterans with questions about benefits and enrollment. R.S.V.P. is requested.
