"I Wish This Could Be Done For Everybody": Wilkinsburg Veteran Receives Free New Roof:

Robert Rawlings’ Wilkinsburg home received a new roof as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project. He’s an Army veteran who served eight years and was selected for the roof replacement through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes, a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor veterans who served our country and the families who support them.

There was a full house at a recent Northumberland County commissioners meeting in Sunbury, and in attendance were some of our nation's bravest. On this day, commissioners designated the month of July as Veterans and Armed Forces Month.

Dillsburg Restaurant Raising Money For Tiny Home Village:

Greystone Brew House in Dillsburg gave a check for $70,000 to Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania. Greystone raised the money this past spring during its Kentucky Derby Day event. The money will go to Veterans Grove, the 15 tiny homes Veterans Outreach built near Harrisburg to shelter homeless vets and get them back on their feet.
