Disabled Vet Pay Excluded From State Aid Limits:

Disabled veterans in Pennsylvania no longer have to claim their monthly benefits as income when applying for state aid programs.

Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy Graduates First Class Of 2024:

Forty-two cadets from the Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy graduated from the 22-week residential phase of the program on their way to a brighter future.

Governor Visits Residents And Staff At Southeastern Veterans' Center:

Governor Josh Shapiro and Maj. Gen. Shapiro Administration Honors Outstanding Women Veterans During Women Veterans Day:

“There are nearly 71,000 women veterans in Pennsylvania who have answered the call to serve their country – and yet too often, the stories of our women veterans go untold,” said Governor Shapiro at a recent ceremony honoring 17 outstanding women from across the commonwealth for their brave service and selfless contributions to Pennsylvania and the nation.

Celebrate Independence Day At Washington Crossing Historic Park:

Celebrate Independence Day from noon-4 p.m. on July 4 with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County. Historians will also demonstrate their crafts and recreate a military encampment. Tickets are $9 for adults age 12 and over; $5 for children ages 5-11; and free for children under age 5, active-duty military, and members of the Friends of Washington Crossing Park.
