Pennsylvania State Veterans Commission Meeting:

This meeting with take place on Friday, June 7 starting at 10 a.m., at the Arrowheads Community Club, located at 9-65 Fisher Ave., Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA 17042.

All meetings are in compliance with The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Title II; Subtitle A, nondiscrimination in state and local government services. Anyone wishing to attend this meeting who needs special accommodation due to a disability, please contact 717-861-6510.

About 40 veterans from six veterans home facilities visited Clark’s Creek at Dauphin County Anglers and Conservationists for the annual adjutant general fishing tournament.

DMVA Hosted Guard-Veterans Day At The Capitol, Highlighting Its Past, Present And Future:

The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) hosted a Guard and Veterans Day event at the state capitol, showcasing its dual mission of supporting the Pennsylvania National Guard (PNG) and Pennsylvania veterans. The day featured a special guest: Benjamin Melvin Berry (Quartermaster Corps 3rd US Army) of Philadelphia who fought in the Battle of the Bulge: Berry participated in an enlistment ceremony for 20 recruits.

Pennsylvania Army National Guard Members To Train Ukrainian Forces:

Members of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard will assist with training Ukrainian forces as their war with Russia continues. According to the National Guard, the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, will mobilize to the Joint Multinational Training Center in Germany to assist with training.
