DMVA's Veterans Temporary Assistance Program:

The Veterans Temporary Assistance program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), provides temporary financial assistance to veterans and their beneficiaries who reside in Pennsylvania for the necessities of life (food, dairy, shelter, fuel and clothing).

The 42nd Annual Memorial Day service was held at the Pennsylvania Veterans Memorial inside the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

PA DMVA Is Seeking A Forester For Fort Indiantown Gap Location:

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a forester at Fort Indiantown Gap (FIG), Pennsylvania National Guard Training Center, to implement forest management practices in support of military training. In this position, you will work as part of a team to plan, develop, and implement programs designed to manage, protect, and conserve forest resources. Job posting closes June 14, 2024.

Public Invited To Celebrate Guard-Veterans Day At The Capitol:

Join the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) for Guard-Veterans Day at the Capitol on June 4. This year, we celebrate the past, present and future of the PA National Guard and honor the 80-year anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Maj. Gen. Mark Schindler, Pennsylvania's adjutant general and head of the DMVA, will also swear in the newest group of PA National Guard recruits. Military displays will be available for visitors to enjoy both inside and outside of the capitol building. The event is from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
