Immaculata University has again been recognized as a Guard-Friendly School by the Pennsylvania National Guard Association (PNGAS). Immaculata was one of the first educational institutions awarded Guard-Friendly School status, which began in 2019.

The annual Tour of Honor, a time when veterans come together, starts and ends in Bensalem, PA. They meet at Parx Casino, board a series of buses and take a day trip to Washington DC. While they are there, they tour museums and visit monuments dedicated to the wars they fought in.

Boots To Business Reboot Training Program Scheduled For Pittsburgh:

Boots to Business Reboot is an entrepreneurial education training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This course, scheduled April 25, 2024, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., provides an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Veterans of all eras, active-duty service members (including National Guard and Reserve) and spouses are eligible to participate at no cost.

This program, scheduled for April 19 from 10 a.m.-Noon at the Montgomery County Human Services Center in Norristown, brings together experts in finance and consumer protection to present to veterans and their families, focusing on investment fraud and scam prevention.
