The public is invited to a tree lighting ceremony and social gathering at the community club, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at 5 p.m.

Guardsman Tells Rotary About Life As A Medic:

Col. Dirk Remensnyder has 30 years of service with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He began his career in August 1993 as a combat medic and rose to his current position of Pennsylvania Medical Readiness Detachment Deputy Commander of Clinical at Fort Indiantown Gap. He was deployed to Ramadi, Iraq in 2005.

The Commonwealth Is Hiring Capitol Police Officers:

The commonwealth is looking for a diverse group of individuals to serve as Capitol Police Officers. Successful candidates are to be knowledgeable with the PA Crimes Code, Vehicle Code, and Rules of Criminal Procedure. In this key role, you must be able to exercise powers of arrest and able to use physical force to apprehend and subdue arrestee(s), conduct mobile, foot and bicycle patrols, conduct investigations, engage in crowd control and must be able to deal with verbal abuse, taunts, insults and threats, among other duties. On-The-Spot VA Health Care Enrollment Event In Chester County:

Veterans can enroll for their VA health care benefits during a family-friendly weekend on-the-spot enrollment event to be held at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Enjoy light refreshments and guest appearances from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Santa's elf. Be sure to bring a copy of your DD-214 and your 2022 total household income and 2022 total out-of-pocket medical expense amounts.
